Gina Diez Barroso
Successful serial entrepreneur and philanthropist, with more than 30 years of experience. Founder of Grupo Diarq, one of the most important companies dedicated to construction and design in Mexico. Diez Company, a leading company in hotel and corporate residential lighting in Mexico. He founded Universidad Centro, the first leading university in its field in Mexico, focused exclusively on careers in creative areas with strong business training. Founder and president of Dalia Empower, a global transformation and education project that supports women to achieve their personal and professional goals. She created the diarq foundation, dedicated to eradicating violence against women and bullying in schools, the pro-education center foundation, which awards scholarships, based on merit. And more recently, the Tatis Foundation, dedicated to providing opportunities for people with disabilities. He represents Mexico at the G20 with the empower initiative.
Paulo Silva
Mexican with motor disabilities, graduate in communication sciences and activist for the rights of people with disabilities, specialist in diversity and inclusion issues, actor and content creator on social networks.
Its main driving force is to change the culture and raise awareness about the importance of inclusion in Mexico. He is a firm believer that through pop culture and the representation of people with disabilities in all areas, a more inclusive world can be achieved.
Ophelia Pastrana
Physicist, economist, lecturer, youtuber, technologist and comedian. Better known as the explainer; BBC100 woman and openly transgender woman. Awarded by Grupo Mundo Ejecutivo as one of the 40 women leaders in Mexico. She is also (according to business insider) the #69 woman worldwide with the most influence on Twitter on the subject of technology. Nominated for an Eliot Award for leadership in digital influence and twice listed by Forbes as “top 100 most powerful women in Mexico”, she is a great promoter of digital culture and technological adoption as a lifestyle.
Fernando Rovzar
Mexican director, producer, screenwriter and showrunner. He began his career in 2003 when he co-founded Lemon Studios with his brother Billy, and partners Alejandro Lozano and Erica Sanchez.
At lemon studios he produced 18 feature films, including “Matando cabos”, “Kilómetro 31” and “Salvando al soldado pérez”, all of them box office successes. Fernando has directed, written and presented several television series for Televisa, Canal Once, HBO, Netflix, Apple TV +, Vix, among others. In addition to his work at lemon studios, Fernando teaches the postgraduate program “the abcs of showrunning” at the Universidad Centro.
Paulina Chavira
Journalist, linguistic consultant and podcaster. She was the founding editor of The New York Times in Spanish and was in charge of writing its style manual. She is a women’s soccer commentator on Fox Sports and participated in the first broadcast on w radio of the Champions League final. It promotes egalitarian language, as well as the rights of people with disabilities.
Humberto Busto
Actor graduated from the UNAM cut, with a specialization in audiovisual media in Los Angeles, Colombia and Berlin. His film career includes amores perros, morirse en domingo and oso polar. He has been the protagonist of the series El chapo, diablero and El juego de las llaves. As a director and screenwriter he has made several short films such as La teta de botero (Ariel nomination) and Julkita (Clermont-Ferrand selection). He is the producer of the play Cost of Living, Pulitzer Prize 2018 whose cast is headed by people with disabilities. He is currently preparing the documentary Marea fosfo about the life of activist Guz Guevara, as well as his first fiction feature film entitled Bisonte, in collaboration with young generations of trans people.
Silke Lubzik
Master in business with more than 15 years of experience in the corporate world and with a diploma in school and labor inclusion of people with disabilities.
President and founder of “Changing Models”, a project that was born in February 2017 and seeks to build a more inclusive world, becoming an activist for respect and inclusion towards people with disabilities who, like her son Mathias, seek to adapt to society in total acceptance.
Laura Manzo
With a degree in communication sciences from the Anahuac University and a master’s degree in Internet Business, Laura has been an editor of print and digital media. His career, of more than 20 years, includes the launch and regionalization of instyle magazine and the news portal The Huffington Post for Mexican editions. In addition, Laura was editorial director of Quién magazine, and together with Leonardo Kourchenko she hosted the second edition of the newscast on xfm 92.1. In recent years she has specialized in gender equality issues and has participated in different forums, including the women’s forum for the economy and society and Forbes Powerful Women. He is currently chief content officer at Dalia Empower, an organization that accompanies other organizations to transform their culture towards a more diverse, egalitarian and inclusive one, and collaborates for different media such as El Universal, Opinión 51 and Vogue.
